Last week we had our "Japanischer Kulturtag" (~
Japanese culture day), an event also known as the "Kirschblütenfest" (~
celebration of the cherry blossom) even though the cherry blossoms are long gone. Basically there are several activities going on about Japan: they show different sports, you can learn about ink painting etc pp. This year we also had a little photography exhibition about the tsunami & earthquake.
Also, you can paint lanterns for the
Tōrō nagashi (a Japanese ceremony) too. Around 22:30 PM they set off fireworks on the Alster. All in all, it's quite nice and I've been going there for years now.
This time I tried taking photos too, but I didn't like them that much.. so most of the photos in this entry are actually just flowers from the Planten & Blomen xD

| I liked the hearts. They also had smiley faces but couldn't capture those. |
Das letzte Feuerwerksfoto ist ja super.
